How To Address the Commissioners of Public Works

Commissioners are committed to listening to and addressing the concerns of our community. If you would like to present an issue, question or request during the CPW’s “Petitions and Requests from the Public” agenda item, please follow the steps below.

Fill out the online Commission Public Comment/Citizen Appearance Form and submit it electronically (or) download the pdf of the form and email it to the Clerk of Commission at the following email: clerkofcommission@sws-sssd.org.
Prepare to Speak: Unless otherwise directed, speakers will have up to three minutes to address the Commissioners at a regularly scheduled meeting.
ALL forms to address the Commissioners of Public Works must be filled out and filed no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the Thursday preceding the meeting in which you wish to speak.

The Commissioners generally meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month in January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September, October and on the second Tuesday of December. The Commissioners do not meet in July or November. Meetings are held in Commission Chambers at 200 Commerce Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
