Four Mile Branch Creek
We understand that customers are concerned about the diesel spill that occurred at Four Mile Branch Creek earlier this week. We want all customers to know that the location and creek impacted in no way threaten the drinking water resources managed by Spartanburg Water. The spill occurred miles below our reservoirs and treatment plant. Our community should remain confident in the safety and integrity of their drinking water. Lake Blalock Nature Trail
The Lake Blalock Nature Trail is a nearly 2 mile, soft path trail with areas of mild elevation. The trail winds through Lake Blalock Park, and has beautiful nature and lake views.
Visitors can access the trail using two trailheads - one located off of the boat area parking lot and the other to the right of the Wardens' Office.
Please note for trail use:
- The trail is foot traffic only: no bicycles, horses or motorized vehicles.
- The trail is open from dawn until dusk.
- Please pack-in, and pack-out - no littering.
- All pets should be on a leash. Please pick up after your pets.
