SPARTANBURG –The R.B. Simms and Landrum Drinking Water Treatment Facilities received Directors Awards for longevity at the Partnership for Safe Water program awards luncheon on June 22. The special program at the AWWA International Conference in Washington, D.C. honored the R.B. Simms Drinking Water Treatment Facility for 25 consecutive years of Director Level Award status and the Landrum Water Treatment Facility for 20 consecutive years.
These awards celebrate the dedication and commitment of providing excellent drinking water to the community we serve, showcasing the exceptional performance and contributions of staff in providing high-quality water to customers, even beyond regulatory requirements.

The Partnership for Safe Water’s award-winning utilities demonstrate an outstanding commitment to delivering superior quality drinking water to customers.
