September 9th 2025

Spartanburg Water and the Liberty-Chesnee-Fingerville Water District (LCF) have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship for many years, during which time Spartanburg Water has provided treated drinking water, through a wholesale agreement, to customers in the LCF service area. The LCF Water District is located in the northeastern part of Spartanburg County.

During this time, both organizations have had a strong partnership that has provided consistent and quality service to benefit the customers within the respective service areas.

The leadership of Spartanburg Water and LCF Water District have again agreed to maintain this relationship, with the signing of an extended, long-term agreement that extends this partnership well into the next decade. Through this agreement, Spartanburg Water will continue to serve LCF, who in turn, will continue to provide exceptional and reliable drinking water services to their customers.

“LCF Water District is pleased to extend our Wholesale Water Agreement with Spartanburg Water,” said LCF Water District General Manager, Johnny Jackson. “In my more than 21 years as General Manager, the support from Spartanburg Water and our community has ensured safe, reliable drinking water services.
