Water Matters 2022 Registration is Open

We are excited to launch a newly designed program that still allows attendees to gain understanding and insight into our operations at Spartanburg Water, but that condenses the academy into two, half-day events. Our planned schedule for this year’s academy is as follows:

     • “Where does my water come from, and how are our water resources protected?”

Friday, October 14, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - will include a tour of Lake Bowen Park and R.B. Simms Drinking Water                  Treatment Facility.

     • “What additional steps does my water take before it reaches me, and what really is wastewater treatment?”

Friday, October 21, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - will include a tour of our SCDHEC-licensed lab, our Construction & Distribution         operations and our largest wastewater treatment facility, the A. Manning Lynch Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Transportation by bus is provided for each session, beginning at 11:30 a.m., as well as, a delicious boxed lunch. Participants must be able to walk up to one mile during the tours to participate.
