Spartanburg Water employees again exceed United Way fundraising goal
Spartanburg Water is celebrating a huge success, surpassing its 2021 United Way Campaign goal by raising the most funds ever in the history of the campaign!
Spartanburg Water employees raised a total of $60,435.96 for The United Way of The Piedmont. The money raised will make a positive impact on the lives of many community residents throughout Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties.
As part of our mission, Spartanburg Water is dedicated to investing in the community we serve, and our employees are passionate about being part of this mission. By generously donating a portion of their paychecks, The United Way of The Piedmont can use these funds to support numerous community organizations focused on education, financial stability and health.
“Our Spartanburg Water employees have again showed their passionate support for our community by exceeding our goal for the 2021 United Way Campaign,” said Courtney Dobbins, 2021 United Way Campaign Chair. “This year is especially significant with the unique challenges our community is facing. It is always an honor to work alongside and donate to The United Way of The Piedmont, in order to help ensure they can continue the amazing support they provide for so many in our community.”
