Spartanburg Water to Modify Customer Service Hours

In an effort to best serve the community and provide for the health and safety of our employees, Spartanburg Water will modify business hours for our Customer Service team as we work to reduce in-person staffing levels. The new hours, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will take effect tomorrow, Thursday, March 19, until further notice.

While the Main Lobby of our Administration Building at 200 Commerce St. remains closed to public traffic, our Spartanburg Water staff will continue to provide support for in-person payments at our Administration Office drive-thru window, as well as Customer Service support by phone – (864) 582-6375. These services will be offered during the updated hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. Our after hours and emergency call system is fully operational without any changes.

We do still strongly encourage any customers with the capability to access our online portal at www.spartanburgwater.org and submit payments electronically. You can also make payments by phone through our automated service at (844) 223-3041.

We understand that we are currently faced with a difficult time, but we want to assure you that your drinking water and wastewater utilities are safe and secure. We are continuing our dedication to serving our community and will continue to adapt as needed in order to provide our normal levels of service and support.
