Pine Street waterline maintenance requires lane closing Friday, April 5

April 4, 2019

Two Spartanburg Water crews will work overnight on Pine Street near Palmetto and Poplar Streets to minimize water service disruption to customers in the area and to those traveling on busy Pine Street. Work begins Friday, April 5 at about 7 p.m. and is expected to finish Saturday, April 6 at about 7 a.m.

Crews are excavating at two intersections – Pine Street and Palmetto Street, and Pine Street and Poplar Street – performing water line maintenance.

The left lane of northbound traffic will be closed to allow crews to work safely. The right lane of northbound traffic will remain open during construction.

35 customers are affected and have been notified that their water service will be disrupted while work is being performed. For more information, please call Spartanburg Water Customer Service at (864) 582-6375. For after-hours emergencies, call (864) 585-8296.
