Spartanburg Water repeals Boil Water Advisory for Franklin Street

To Spartanburg Water Customers on Franklin Street
As a precaution, Spartanburg issued a Boil Water Advisory Monday, June 11, 2018. Spartanburg Water advised customers affected by the Franklin Street line repair to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking until notification otherwise.
The line has been repaired and placed back into service. Bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by Spartanburg Water, which has a South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control-certified laboratory. The results of the sampling indicate that the water meets state and federal standards for safe drinking water.
