Calendar Photo Contest

We are creating a customer calendar with a different look for 2019-2020. Send us your most creative photos of water taken in the Spartanburg County area and you could win a $100 prize. Close up and abstract photos are encouraged!

We’ve created 15 categories of photos we are looking for, listed below. If any of your photos are chosen for use in the calendar, you will be recognized on social media and will receive a $100 prize per photo. Whether you are a professional or just love photography, you are invited to enter the contest, which runs May 23-June 21.

All photos uploaded for consideration must be in a horizontal (landscape) format. This is to coincide with the calendar layout.

Photos must be taken with at least a 3 Megapixel camera and submitted in the highest-resolution possible. Sorry, but only photos taken on phones with newer camera technology, like an iPhone X, have a resolution that is high enough for a printed calendar. Do not downsize your photo before submitting. All photos must be in a digital form to be eligible for the contest.

Upload your photos individually to our email below. Your name, mailing address, email address, daytime phone number, customer status, photo category and location of where the photo was taken must be included when submitting photos. Up to 20 photos per person can be submitted, but all information must be filled out for each photo submission. Contest runs from Wednesday, May 23 through Thursday, June 21 at 5 p.m. Winners will be notified by email/phone by July 13.

Any photos chosen for our calendar become the property of Spartanburg Water and will be used at its discretion.Click below to submit a photo:
