Spartanburg Water System/Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District Service Areas
The Spartanburg Water service area covers approximately 864 square miles that include retail and wholesale service areas. The Spartanburg Water retail service area is approximately 259 square miles, and the wholesale, approximately 605 square miles. Landrum, a service area in the northwestern portion of Spartanburg County, and extending into Greenville County, is a noncontiguous retail service area of approximately 15 square miles.
The Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District service area is defined by the Spartanburg city limits and a contiguous service area covering approximately 196 square miles. The non-contiguous service areas consist of eight different geographical locations, serving approximately 22 square miles.
