Spearheaded by Spartanburg Water, RXcycle events offer safe disposal of unused and expired pills, and can also take liquids, creams, inhalers and syringes.
Spartanburg County area residents have contributed more than 900 pounds of unused and expired pills, patches, liquids, creams, inhalers, sharps and other medical supplies by partnering with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency for the past two years, and community-wide for five years.
