Lake Sweep 2008

Congratulations! Spartanburg Water’s annual Lake Sweep was a tremendous success for 2008! Held on Saturday, September 20th, 2008, volunteers celebrated the event’s 20th anniversary. Over 200 volunteers, including citizens, schools, local businesses, and Spartanburg Water employees, combined efforts to help remove over 23,000 pounds of trash from our local waterways!

We would like to sincerely thank all of our volunteers who participated in 2008 Lake Sweep. Without your support, this event would not be possible. We would also like to express special thanks to all of our sponsors for their support. Your sponsorship exemplifies your environmental stewardship for Spartanburg County waterways, while illustrating your generosity towards our hard working volunteers.
