Watershed Signs
In 2009, Spartanburg Water installed 21 watershed signs along the boundaries of its source watersheds; the North Pacolet, South Pacolet, and Pacolet River Watersheds. The purpose of the signs is to educate the public on the importance of protecting our watersheds and drinking water, and to encourage good stewardship of Spartanburg County’s waterways. The watershed signs inform travelers of the watershed they are entering and display the message "Please Help Keep It Clean."
