Located within the South Pacolet River Basin, Lake Bowen was formed by the waters of the South Pacolet River and its tributaries. Today, Lake Bowen encompasses 1,534 acres and contains approximately 33 miles of shoreline.


Adjacent to Lake Bowen and encompassing 271 acres and approximately 13 miles of shoreline, Municipal Reservoir #1 remains an essential water source to customers of the Spartanburg region.

Lake Bowen
Located within the Pacolet River Basin, Lake Blalock was formed by the waters of the Pacolet River and its tributaries. Today, Lake Blalock encompasses 1,105 acres and contains approximately 45 miles of shoreline.
