Spartanburg Water Conservation Tips

Spartanburg Water Celebrates Earth Day with Local Schools.

Spartanburg, S.C. (April 23, 2009) Spartanburg Water proudly celebrated Earth Day with local community schools! In an effort to teach students about how to conserve water and protect local rivers, lakes and streams, Spartanburg Water created an Earth Day competition for local elementary schools. Participants came from O.P. Earle Elementary, Cooley Springs-Fingerville Elementary and Chapman Elementary.

Fifth grade students were given the opportunity to submit t-shirt designs for Spartanburg Water's upcoming Lake Sweep in September 2009. The first place winner's design will be used for the official event t-shirt.
